High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On Sunday, April 21, 2013, at approximately 2:45 AM, an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to Sak’s Grill, 450 E. King Street, by breaking the glass out of the front door. The suspect left the area on foot traveling towards Wood Circle.

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at approximately 5:30 am, a suspect broke the front glass of Expressions on Howard St, entered the store and stole several items.  The suspect was wearing black gloves, a dark blue jacket with a white patch on the left upper left chest of the jacket, jeans and a white beanie with black designs around the rim.  The suspect was also carrying a multi-colored satchel.

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On March 28th, 2013, a Grey 2000 GMC Sierra single cab pickup truck, with North Carolina registration tag AMR-5347, was stolen out of the Chili’s parking lot in Boone.  The owner of the vehicle was attempting to sell the vehicle and allowed a couple to take the vehicle for a test drive, but they never returned.   The suspects are described as a white male in his thirties, very thin, with a light, scruffy beard, wearing a black beanie cap and a sweatshirt.  The second suspect is described as a white female, also in her thirties, with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a brown jacket.

On the evening of Friday, March 22nd, a white male was found severely beaten near the Boone Trail Motel, located at 275 E King Street. The victim was transported to the Watauga Medical Center ER for treatment and was subsequently transported to Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. The victim had been in the downtown business district prior to being found.

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Sunday February 10th, a residential mailbox on Dogwood Road in Boone was destroyed as the result of a small explosion.  The explosive used was likely a firework or other similar small explosive device.  There are no reports of injury connected with this vandalism.

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police seek the public’s assistance in solving the following crime:

On Thursday, January 2, 2013, at approximately 2:05 PM, the Rite-Aid drugstore at the Shops at Shadowline was robbed.  The suspect is a white male, 6+ feet tall, medium/large build, fair complexion with bushy, dark eyebrows.  He was wearing a gray hoodie, black bandana, black jacket and a black toboggan.  The suspect entered the store, presented a note that demanded prescription drugs.  The suspect left the store traveling towards Harris Teeter on foot.
