INCIDENT INFORMATION

During the 2007 calendar year, Boone Fire Department responded to 1042 incidents. The average response times for both emergency and routie incidents were 4.2 minutes within town limits and 11 minutes within the rural fire service district.

PERSONNEL

  At the present time, the Boone Fire Department is running a roster of 31 members.  These members put in a total of 1675.5 hours of interdepartmental training during the calendar year.

 

INSPECTIONS

The Boone Fire Department Prevention Bureau conducted 156 fire and life safety education programs, making contact with a total of 4335 citizens through public education this year.

FIRE PREVENTION

  The Boone Fire Department Prevention Bureau conducted 124 fire and life safety education programs.

  

PREVENTION MEETINGS AND TRAINING

  During the course of year 2007, the Prevention Staff attended 26 training sessions/meetings.
