System Development Fee Calculations to be Completed by Staff Only

I understand that System Development Fees are due at the time of application and must be paid prior to water and /or sewer service tap installation. Failure to pay will result in disconnection of existing service. The system development fee does not include connection charges for labor, materials, and equipment. Connection charges must be paid before the water &/or sewer taps will be unlocked. I understand that a written estimate of such charges is available to me if I so request, and that three business days may be required for the estimate. If I am a contractor, I will notify the owner of all applicable information. Please contact the Department of Public Works-(Water & Sewer) Public Utilities Division at 828-268-6250 for water and sanitary sewer main location before any excavation and/or North Carolina 811 (NC-811), inside the state of North Carolina dial 811, if placing a call from an out of state number dial 1-800-632-4949.
