   Thank you so much for your interest in completing your internship with the Boone Police Department.   Because of the increasing level of interest being expressed in our program, we have implemented a formal application procedure in order to streamline this competitive process.  

   Please complete the Boone Police Internship Application. Upon reviewing the applications, follow-up interviews will be scheduled.  At this time, we are only accepting applications from Appalachian State University undergraduate and graduate students.     

   Internships are offered for Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters in the areas of investigations, patrol, and administration (graduate students only). The deadlines for application are: 

   • Spring  Semester: September  15
   • Summer Semester: February  15
   • Fall  semester: June  15
