The Town of Boone Public Works Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Trades Specialist Supervisor. Performs difficult skilled work supervising and participating in the maintenance and repair of buildings and installation of concrete structures; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision. Supervision is exercised over a crew of semiskilled personnel.
Education and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and extensive experience in skilled maintenance or construction work including some supervisory experience.
Special Requirements:
Possession of an appropriate driver’s license valid in the State of North Carolina.
Salary:
$46,329 plus excellent benefits. Employee will serve a six-month probation.
