The Town of Boone Cultural Resources Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of PT Event Attendant. This employee will perform a wide variety of duties associated with special events, programs, and the operation of the Jones House Cultural and Community Center. Some of these duties may include customer service and regular communication with the general public, janitorial duties of the Jones House Cultural and Community Center building, set-up and clean-up during events (including private rental events, concerts, Town sponsored events, and/or meetings). May require the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Experience with or interest in photography, video, or music production preferred, but not required. Work is performed under regular supervision. Evening and weekend hours required.
Education and Experience
Any combination and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some customer service experience.
$15.06 hourly. Employee will serve a six-month probation.
