Overview

With colder weather comes the increase of a variety of illnesses, including influenza (or the flu). In December 2021, an increase in "Influenza A (H3N2)", has been noted by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. While it's impossible to avoid total exposure to any illness, there are tips which can both reduce your risk of contracting the flu and reduce your symptoms if you do contract the flu.
